A thought from Psalm

A Psalm of Thanksgiving - Psalm 100

100 Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
2 Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.
3 Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture
4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

One of the things I love about this verse from David is that there is no mention of exactly how we are to praise. It just says to do it, to "make a joyful shout".

It doesn't matter if you can't do things that others do....it just says to doing it with gladness.

It doesn't matter if you can't carry a tune...it just says to come with singing.

As we read on, God is looking for thankfulness and praise, and no matter what is going on there is always something that we can be thankful for and praise God for it.

Our services are casual and family friendly. I encourage you to come see the difference.

In 1 Corinthians, Paul gives a model of what church should be like. One brings a song, one brings a word...

We put that into practice by letting those who God has put into our church family use their gifts if lifting each other up and encouraging each other as we go from week to week.
